Actually, the old Medium (before 2019) had some good pieces of writing and interesting stories. However, when I joined in 2019 (although I had encountered Medium even before and forgot about it), the quality of much of the content went down.

I am hoping that in the next few years, Medium will start encouraging that old school stuff, rather than the making money and ideological stuff that has been prevalent in the past few years.

Otherwise Medium is a great platform, very unique on the internet in the ease of creation it gives to writers and dabblers in writing (like myself). Hope for 10 more years and beyond!
