After the death of Stalin, many of the Koryo-saram started moving back to Russia proper.

Also another interesting community are the Sakhalin Koreans. They were left after the USSR took over the southern part of Sakhalin Island from Japan. Most of the ethnic Japanese were kicked out. However, the ethnic Koreans stayed.
