And here is my response why the US dollar will stay dominant (written as a response to Isaiah's previous article on the same topic last year). The same arguments apply.

BRICS aren't an alliance.

Russia is a basket-case economy now. Saudi has oil, but is pretty squandering its money. India and China have nothing to do with each. They even fight small border skirmishes from time to time.

The US dollar might be volatile, but all the other currencies are even more volatile. While it is true that the alt-right vs. woke left shenanigans are undermining the country, it would take a near-civil war type situation in the US to unseat the US dollar.
