Exactly. I have always argued that infusing a little more ancient Skeptic thought into modern debates could make the world a better place (but Skeptic in the version of Carneades and others, not what some people today preach which gives rise to conspiracy theories). I am a big proponent of Bayesian thinking, which is based on applying probabilities and then readjusting those probabilities when new evidence comes up.
