Hi Richard. I definitely agree with you. Gobekli Tepe probably didn't arise suddenly out of nowhere. There were traditions that preceded it. For example, the mammoth bone houses that were discovered on the plains of eastern Europe (and which I wrote an article about). For example in Kostyonki in Russia, they discovered a large structure dating 25 thousand years ago.
