I agree on the abundance, but only for a select few groups. Due to Tinder the dating market has a huge disbalance. The abundance applies only to women, and 20% of the males with the best looking faces. The rest of the males get absolutely nothing, or in better cases lucky once in a while that they get a match, even a date. That's why there are so many incels. Dating apps (and things like Instagram) have created abundance for some (women, men with top 20% faces), and scarcity for others (men with bottom 80% faces).
