I agree with you on the defunding the police part (stupid slogan), and wokeness in general.
That said:
I went on Substack and read your story on Covid, and I have to say the story you linked to under the word "ineffective", does not actually support your claim that vaccines are ineffective. What the article says is that people do catch Covid despite being vaccinated...
HOWEVER... The symptoms of those who do catch the virus are milder than for those who are not vaccinated.
Quoting from the article you linked to:
"...though rates of deaths and hospitalizations remained the lowest among the boosted."
and
"The new data do not mean booster shots are somehow increasing the risk. Ongoing studies continue to provide strong evidence of additional protection offered by booster shots against infection, severe disease, and death."
So the article you linked to actually disproves your thesis that vaccines are ineffective. They are effective in lessening the symptoms of Covid, even for the at-risk groups (people over 55 and people with other risk factors).
And that is the point of the vaccines. Less people get severe symptoms, less people end up in the hospital, less people die. Hospitals don't get flooded with Covid patients, and can continue doing normal work as usual. Win-win.
After the vaccination campaign started, the vast majority of the people who ended up in the hospitals or died was among the unvaccinated. Vaccination decreased the risk of getting hospitalized and dying. So in that way they are effective.
