I think we must have watched a totally different show. It is directed by a Chilean woman of Palestinian descent who emigrated to France (Marcela Said). Two of the top three "good cop" characters are of North African descent (Souffiane Gouriab, Shirine Boutella), and even Anne Pellegrini is played by an actress of Spanish descent born in Algeria (Nicole Garcia). Two of the main actresses in the series were born in Algeria. I don't know how you want to go more diverse than that.
