Nice article!
It was actually only Czechoslovakia that the UK gave away to Hitler at the Munich Conference. However, at the conference Hungary also got a piece of southern Slovakia, since it was a Hitler ally. Hungary, led by Miklos Horthy, was an Axis country right from the beginning.
The funny thing is that just 2 years later, France got rolled over by the Nazis, in part also thanks to the fact that the Nazis incorporated a large amounts of tanks they took for free from the Czechoslovak army. At the time, the Czechoslovak army was quite strong with pretty advanced hardware. In fact, if the UK and French had any balls at that time, WW2 might never have happened, as a number of German generals were ready to stage a coup against Hitler...
Anyways, I can't believe people actually fall for the "Ukraine is fascist" argument, when its president is Jewish, as was its former PM in the previous administration. Furthermore, Russian-speakers are still quite well-represented in the government.
