There are a lot of interesting sites in Africa. I am particularly interested in the story of how Sahara used to be quite green and its drying up eventually forced people to move to areas around rivers such as the Nile, which then started off the Egyptian civilization. The precursors of Egyptian (and also Nubian) civilization are to be found in the Sahara.
