Unfortunately, a lot of great shows get cancelled way early before their time. On the other hand, sometimes a show might start off great in the first season, but then gets worse as the seasons progress. On one hand, I would like to have seen a second season of "The Messiah", on the other hand maybe it's good that it got cancelled before subsequent seasons ruined it. One such Netflix show that comes to mind was "Designated Survivor". It started off great with a conspiracy theory that kept you guessing, but in the next seasons turned into more of a comedy.
