Well, this is how it always works. I wish I didn’t have to go to work in a suit and a tie, but that’s the rule, so I do it. I hate shirts, I would prefer going to work in a t-shirt, but I don’t have the power to change it. Some jobs have even stricter rules, but the majority of people go with it, since they need the paycheck… Haircuts, shaved beards, neat appearance are the standard in most jobs. Actors actually have a lot more freedom to do whatever they want than the rest of us…

The thing is that 99% of us, whether white, black, or whatever are just rule takers.
