Well, what I am arguing is that it gives us a new understanding of how civilization developed. For example, in Egypt and Sumeria you had proto-writing which then developed into full scale writing. You had similar developments of proto-writing in the Balkans, but at some point the developments there collapsed and we never saw the same trajectory as in the previously mentioned places. What we are also uncovering now is that the developments in places like Ukraine 6000 BC were much more complex than previously thought, much more complex than in other parts of the world at that point in time. This is something that was not widely known.
