You do realize that the US hasn't declared a war since WW2.

So using your definition, the Korean War was the Korean Mission, the Vietnam War was the Vietnam Mission, the Gulf War was the Gulf Mission, and the Iraq War (2003) was the Iraq Mission. Great!
