Yup, this is a huge problem in today's world. However, most people don't even realize that they have this problem. When asking people what the point is of posting so many selfies of themselves all over social media, I just get a blank stare or worse. I find this is correlated with greater unhappiness and lack of ability to sustain normal relationships with people.
